Every now and then a mild weather day pops up in the Fall/Winter. The sun comes out and wind settles down. It makes you miss Spring/Summer that much more. I personally love the cooler weather months but when the weather permits, I will sneak in a piece or two from my summa clothes. lol

One thing I don’t do with my closet or wardrobe is store all the warmer weather items away until April. Everything stays right where I can see it. Luckily I have the space for it and also I don’t shop so much therefore all my clothes fit nicely all year round. Oh, and I purge frequently; major key.

On those random warmer days, I’ll poke through my items and see how I can make a summer item work for the current season. With this look, I grabbed one of my light button down dresses and paired with my new faux leather pants which I love from Banana Republic and some suede booties, now on sale. The jacket works as a good layering piece because it’s thin and can still be worn comfortably underneath a coat if needed.

Try keeping a few pieces in rotation that you normally would think only works for warmer weather. Layering is the trick to looking season appropriate. Try it out and tag me in your looks:)
